Overcast skies greeted the runners and Kiwanis volunteers early Monday morning at the 33rd Annual Kiwanis Independence Day 5K Race. Nonetheless, smiles were shared at the registration tables and preparations were completed at Sutherland Middle School so that another successful fund-raiser could be conducted to support Camp Holiday Trails, a summer camp for kids with special health needs. Special thanks go to the Charlottesville Track Club and major sponsor Better Living, Inc. for helping make this KID5K a memorable one.  See more photos at the Kiwanis photo gallery for July 4, 2016 and the Daily Progress In Crowd web site for Independence Day activities.
